As we approach this year’s Giving Tuesday, we at La Plaza are reaching out to you with an urgent request for support. La Plaza has always been dedicated to helping families in their journey to establish themselves in a new country, but lately, our mission has become more critical than ever.
Our community is experiencing an influx of new arrivals, many of whom have arrived with nothing but hope for a better future. La Plaza staff has been working tirelessly to provide these families with the essential support they need. However, their needs go far beyond what meets the eye.
Our dedicated team tirelessly provides them with essential support, from hygiene products and clothing to housing and employment assistance. We guide them through the intricacies of life in the United States, from public transportation to enrolling their children in school.
Starting anew in a foreign land is daunting, and our work takes weeks, if not months, to stabilize these families. Unfortunately, our emergency funds are insufficient to meet this demand.
This Giving Tuesday, we humbly ask for your support. Your generosity will transform the lives of these families and help them build brighter futures.
